New Zealand secured a spot in the semifinals by defeating Bangladesh by 5 wickets on Sunday. India has also advanced to the semifinals from the group.
The final group-stage match will be between New Zealand and India, while Bangladesh and Pakistan have been eliminated before their last game.
Chasing a target of 237 runs, New Zealand reached the total in 46.1 overs, losing 5 wickets. Rachin Ravindra was the top scorer with 112 runs off 105 balls, including 12 fours and 1 six. He completed his fourth ODI century in just 95 balls.
Rachin and Tom Latham built a crucial 129-run partnership for the fourth wicket. Latham scored 55 runs off 76 balls, hitting 3 fours.
Will Young, who had scored a century in the previous match, was dismissed without scoring. Devon Conway contributed 30 runs off 45 balls, while Glenn Phillips remained unbeaten on 21.
For Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain, Nahid Rana, Mustafizur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed took one wicket each.
Earlier, after losing the toss and being invited to bat first at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh posted a total of 236 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
For Bangladesh, captain and opener Najmul Hossain Shanto was the top scorer with 77 runs off 110 balls, hitting 9 fours. Zakir Ali contributed 45 runs off 55 balls, while Rishad Hossain added 26 runs.
Opener Tanzid Hasan was dismissed for 24, and Taskin Ahmed managed 10 runs.
For New Zealand, Michael Bracewell took 4 wickets, Will O'Rourke grabbed 2, while Kyle Jamieson and Matt Henry picked up 1 wicket each.
With this victory, New Zealand remains unbeaten in two matches and leads Group A. Bangladesh, on the other hand, is yet to secure a point after two losses. New Zealand had earlier defeated hosts Pakistan by a big margin in their opening match.
In the tournament, Australia and South Africa are set to face off on Tuesday.
